Listen to and read the opinions of our guests, visitors and the media on the Wiener Concert-Verein.
A past which remains alive, a present which reaches into the future. A moment of reflection and hope runs through this heterogenous yet coherent program, not the least because it shows the exceptional teamwork of these artists as they safeguard an identity through the predilection for different languages. The clear bright phrasing of this orchestra, accustomed to broad abundance, made Mozart’s Divertimento KV138 sound like a balsam of trust in humanity in the golden warmth of the Brahms Saal.
- Ape musicale (Dr Roberta Pendrotti), 3rd March 2022
Wiener Concert-Verein at Meisterkonzerte Innsbruck: passion and sighs of love. The Wiener Concert-Verein played with the transparency of chamber music, bringing a combination of spoken phrases and sensitive sound painting to the fore. Expansive and deeply felt slow movements, the play of dialogue in clear-cut balance, dance-like elasticity in the fast movements – in short, a real experience!
